Bruno Maurice and Raphael Jouan

As a preamble to their recital of the Arsenal of Metz for May 13, the halls of the town hall of the 9th arrondissement of Paris were packed Sunday, March 1 to welcome bruno Maurice on the accordion and Raphael Jouan on cello.  They proposed a true musical journey between genres and eras, in a program built around scholarly and popular music, with music by B. Maurice, J. S. Bach, A. Piazzolla, T. Murena, M. Perrone, G. Viseur, D. Popper.

On the occasion of their visit to Metz, they will give masterclasses at the conservatory on 12 May and the recital on 13 May at the Arsenal de Metz will give rise to the world premiere of a new work specially written for this duo by Bruno Maurice.
